Sounds of Summer Music Series

July 6 – August 31, 2016

Join fellow music enthusiasts for Surrey’s Sounds of Summer which takes place Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8 pm  in different parks across the city like Bear Creek Park Gardens, Fleetwood Park Gardens, and the Surrey Nature Centre. Pack some snacks, bring your lawn chairs, and get outside to enjoy all types of music from classical to gypsy swing! Check out the schedule to see the exact location for each week.

Nature Work Parties

April 6 – October 22, 2016

Do you have a green thumb but live in a Surrey condo or townhouse where your gardening and landscaping skills are not used to their full potential? Consider meeting up with a Nature Work Party twice a month throughout various areas of the city of Surrey. You can help remove invasive plants, plant trees, and care for shade trees. Surrey Canada Day

July 1, 2016

Don’t  miss Surrey’s biggest and best party of the summer. Surrey Canada Day is the largest Canada Day celebration in all of Western Canada. The event takes place from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre (formerly Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre) and is free to attend. Be sure to check out family-friendly events all day and don’t miss the grand finale fireworks.

3rd Annual Bridgeview Community Festival

July 9, 2016

Another family-friendly event featuring some good old fashion fun with a variety of activities like face painting, train rides, butterfly release, climbing wall, and bicycle decorating and parade. Surrey Fusion Festival

July 23 and 24, 2016
