1. Surrey Farmer’s Market

June 10 to October 7, 2015

This fresh market hosted by the Surrey Urban Farmers Market Association is open every Wednesday afternoon (1pm – 6pm) now until early October. Drop by the market at Civic Plaza behind City Hall and find local foods such as produce, chicken, eggs, honey, plus local artisans! There is also live music between 2 and 5 pm each week! Eat fresh and buy local!

2. Sounds of Summer Music Series

June 29 to August 28, 2015

Explore your Surrey parks while you discover new musical styles! Enjoy live music every Monday night at various locations throughout Surrey including Fleetwood Park, Bear Creek Park, Hawthorne Park, The Plaza at City Hall, and more. Musical styles range from Bluegrass to Celtic to Jazz to Sitar, and everything in between!

3. Darts Hill Garden Saturday Strolls

June 29 to August 28, 2015

Take a peaceful stroll through Darts Hill garden in South Surrey featuring mature shrubs, trees and flowers from around the world. The garden is open to the public every Saturday in June and September (except June 20) from 11 am to 3 pm. Parking is located on 170th Street at 16th Avenue; volunteers will provide you with map and information at the garden gates. While there is no charge donations are suggested.

4. Surrey Heritage Re-Enactment Project

June 29 to August 28, 2015

Learn about Surrey’s history with the Re-enactors, a group of professional actors who react the stories or real early Surrey settlers between 1872 – 1945. Their performance schedule is always changing, from evening shows at the Surrey Night Market to afternoon performances at the Surrey Museum.
